Hung Ou Yang, Managing Partner of Brain Trust International Law Firm, was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the AUO - TCFD Annual Conference: "Legal Risks of ESG: Sustainability v.s. Greenwashing". Hung Ou Yang pointed out that the recent increase on climate change lawsuits has highlighted greenwashing controversies and legal risks that enterprises have to pay more attention when doing business across the world. Hung Ou Yang introduced multiple international cases to indicate why the greenwashing issues have emerged with regard to green claims, and why claims on carbon zero and carbon neutrality may lead to lawsuits and controversies.
