GC Summit Taiwan 2024 was held on October 8th at the Le Méridien Taipei Hotel in Taipei. Brain Trust International Law Firm's Managing Partner, Hung Ou Yang, made the opening remarks, in front of the corporate legal professionals and international lawyers from various countries, highlighting our support for Taiwan's legal community to be more internationalized. Mr. Ou Yang also delightedly announced that the Taiwan Bar Association has successfully joined the International Bar Association (IBA) in the mid 2024, with voting rights as a full member.
Mr. Ou Yang also served as a moderator for one session, discussing the practical application of ESG and carbon emission reduction. Dr. Stephan Ebner, Counsel, Paul Ma, Attorney, and Fred Lin, Of Counsel, from Brain Trust International Law Firm, served as speakers and moderators in one of the sessions, discussing how corporate legal counsels can address cross-border financial issues.
